Advisory Board Member: Chef Christopher Ennew, C.C.C
Chef Christopher Ennew was a member of the Ontario team that competed in the Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg in 1998. Ennew won personal gold for his 10-plated program, an incredible individual honour.
Known throughout the Kawartha region for his culinary skill and vision, Ennew is firmly committed to providing the best quality product for his patrons. He is currently the Executive Chef at Ste. Anne's Country Inn and Spa in Grafton, Ontario.
His culinary philosophy is quite straightforward, he creates meals that are simple, fresh and clean. "Food is an essential part of the human condition, Chef Ennew believes, so it deserves the utmost respect. "Each food has its own unique flavour and that flavour must be allowed to be enjoyed and not overwhelmed by an assortment of outside influences."
According to Chef Ennew, “Inspired cuisine, carefully prepared to surprise and delight your palate, adds to your sense of well-being.” For this reason, he enjoys creating dishes that form a memorable part of every meal at Ste. Anne's.
Chef Ennew looks forward to bringing his philosophy for food to the Advisory board.
