Celebrity Chef Duo Visit Liaison College from Taiwan to learn about Ontario Cooking. 

Kevin and Claire (a husband and wife celebrity chef team from Taiwan) came to learn about Ontario cooking and food products.  Escorted by two Canadian hosts from Agriculture Canada, Kevin and Claire enjoyed a cooking class lead by Chef Instructor, Steven Popp.

Kevin and Claire began their Canadian tour in BC a few weeks ago.  Their mission is to travel across Canada and find out all about Canadian food culture and ingredients and take back their knowledge, videos and pictures to present on their famous show (available over most of the world by satellite TV!).  Kevin and Claire host a cooking show from their restaurant in Taipei City where guests book years in advance to dine with the culinary couple and appear on their show which is taped live in their restaurant.

At Liaison College they watched a cooking demonstration (and then sampled of course!) Canadian cheeses, Ontario lamb, Ontario Lake Trout among other delicious Ontario produce.  Liaison College was pleased to be ambassadors for the culinary journey in Ontario.

Kevin and Claire are also the proud owners and cooks of Studio 1010, in the heart of Taipei for the past 10 years and perform cooking demonstrations in Asia and most recently in Washington DC .

In March 2000, they published their first cookbook “Natural Low Fat Healthy Meals” sold in Taiwan and overseas.  Their second book was published in 2001 and a third is on the way.
